Ernakulam (Kochi)

Dutch Palace
Also called the Mattancherry Palace, the traditionally built infrastructure features plenty of murals depicting Hindu temple art painted in rich warm colors.

Hill Palace, Thripunthura
Spreading across 54 acres of land, the palace consists of 49 buildings portraying traditional architecture. The palace is now run by the Archeology department, and is one of the biggest archeological museums in Kerala.

Jewish Synagogue
The oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth countries was built in 1568 AD. The hand painted Chinese tiles, and the gold and silver crowns gifted to the synagogue are some of the captivating interests.

Marine Drive
Also known as Shanmugham Road, the Marine Drive is considered to be one of the beautiful parts of the city. The backwaters and the harbor are a breathtaking view from here.

Pallipuram Fort

St.Francis Church
The oldest European Church in India, has great historical significance owing to the European colonial struggle. The Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama was buried in the church for a period of fourteen year until hus body was removed and transported to Lisbon.
